What do you Hate NOT doing?

It doesn't make sense to continue wanting something if you're not willing to do what it takes to get it.
If you don't want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process, is to guarantee disappointment.

~James Clear

It’s great to talk about what you WANT to do, how you want to live, what you want your life to look like. But wanting only gets you so far.

Let’s look at it through another lens, what DO you have you NOW? What can’t you see your life WITHOUT? What are your non-negotiables?

Jay Ferruggia, podcast host, author, and speaker puts it this way, What do you hate NOT doing? Build your life around this every day!

My Non-Negotiables, what I hate NOT doing each day:

Coffee, and quiet time.
Spending time with my kids and partner, being available.
Training or playing in some form.
Being available to my clients.
Walking a minimum of 7K steps outside, preferably in nature with my dog.
Feeding my body well with whole foods, and hydrating.
Getting to bed on time.
Taking in a book or a podcast to learn one new thing.
Getting outside my comfort zone.
Get in touch with at least one friend each day.

I build my days around this list of absolutes, some of which are new habits I established in the last year, and most are habits I have been working on for a long time, now the cornerstone to my daily life and happiness.

Look at your non-negotiables, things you hate NOT doing every day? How many are you doing now? Are there some you wish you made more time for, some you are neglecting?

The important thing to understand, is no one is making you choose, you can choose whatever you WANT to choose. YOU decide what to build your day, your career, your life around. Make your list and hold it close.

Take ownership over your actions, and you will be set free!
